Fellobrabers Blogspot Update

We apologise for the long time this blogspot site has been out of date for, but due to many personal situations, other works and general lack of time I have not been able to keep up to date or even have time to make much new episodes sadly. I am aiming to try and do more episodes in the future but whether life and other factors will allow me to do that is another matter entirely.

Also after Blip had shut down the Fellobrabers Blip Channel it has been a tiring experience in fixing the episodes that needed it from issues caused by downloading all the videos from Blip and reposting them onto Youtube. Over time those episodes will be reposted with the Youtube video players of the episodes and hopefully any future episodes can continue to be made and posted on both Youtube and this website. Once again we apologise for the long unplanned hiatus and radio silence this blogspot site has gone through and hope you all will continue to watch and support us.

In the mean time check out our other Fellobrabers Productions based works and Youtube channels.

Cartoon Commentary - Oswald The Lucky Rabbit in Confidence

Mickey Mouse's loser brother fights off the literal ghost of Depression with mind-controlling drugs. Also, he travels through time, apparently.

For awhile now me and a new friend of mine, Madhog from the Team Yume group who I have joined and allied up with, worked on a Fellobrabers Games Showcase of Maniac Mansion together on Youtube and now on this Cartoon Commentary (in other words Riffing) on a very old cartoon from the 1930s created by the creator of Woody Woodpecker, Walter Lantz, who had the rights from Walt Disney at the time. This cartoon was a very weird one but then again 1930s cartoons and PSAs about things like depression go hand in hand back in those days.

This riff was mainly created by Madhog but co-written by me was enjoyable, I always take pride in working with others and brainstorming and this was no exception. It was fun working with you Madhog and I thank you for letting me be a part of this short and small video.

Madhog has some potential in humour but greatly shines in how he professionally he critiques any form of media from video games to anime, fanfiction, movies and much more both popular and obscure, I highly recommend checking out his videos as they are enlightening and interesting.

Created by Madhog of Team Yume in collaboration with Fellobrabers Productions click on the link below and be sure to check out his videos! n_n

Hope you all enjoy our collaborative riff on this old cartoon! Also once again thank you so much Madhog for giving me the chance to work together with you on this.

In the "50th" episode of Fanservice Fiesta, Faries looks at one of the oldest ecchi shows to make it to the west.

In this episode I make a small cameo appearance for this special 50th episode landmark! To be a part of a celebration like this was quite fun and an honour to be a part of! Check out this special episode where you may be surprised who else appears in this episode.

The CoolApe Dream Is Over

As soon as I return after a month of being away from the computer and 2 weeks of that month without Internet, I return to the sad news that CoolApe has now been shut down. Sad as this news is and believe me I was sad to see it go, but with it new things tend to come around, new memories to create and have with so many great people both old and new so I will always be glad for the time I have spent as not only as a co-owner of a wonderful team of close knit friends and way more talented people than me but also find and meet so many great and good people. So what does that mean for yours truly?

Well just in case your wondering, I will still continue solo on our Fellobrabers Productions blogspot site with my videos when I can, but I have lately taken a Blizzard Entertainment's approach to my videos where I will not post until its ready and perfect, so while I am a rare poster I will not give up working as a reviewer. Also currently I have a couple of future plans but what they may be, only time will tell, just know that I have some big plans for myself to hopefully make a difference in the Internet for hopefully the community. So this is Devar of Fellobrabers saying great memories may begin and end, but its what you do during those times that makes them special. Farewell CoolApe and good luck ZoDy in whatever your future projects may be and I will always be your boxing manager whenever you need it!

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Review

Greetings one and all, and welcome to my first video review of 2013!.... I think I am having a sense of Dejavu, didn't we do a video game review at the start of last year too?! 0_o

Filled with great excitement to get a hold of this game and after finally playing it to death, did Superbot Entertainment create an epic battle to be remembered for the ages of Playstation or does it fall short of its grand dream match?

The Perfect GAME Competition

As an aspiring video game designer and being more of a creator of ideas, I would be very lucky if I could be a part of a team who would create a fighting game that could revolutionise the genre. Taking place within a fantasy world full of interesting characters ranging from Humans, Elves, Demons, Deities and many more with a Story Mode for each character to play through and in depth but easy to play fighting system.

I am not only heavily inspired by fighting games like Blazblue and Soul Calibur but also take inspiration from popular fantasy RPGs like the Final Fantasy series and the underrated Tales of series to name a couple and take certain aspects that made them interesting and great to make the player feel immersed not only in the world but also into the stories of its vast cast of characters who inhabit the world.

Concerning art direction, I would like to think I would try and be original with the art style, I have always enjoyed the art style of such games like the old Final Fantasy games, Soul Calibur and Assassin’s Creed and try to come up with original designs while being inspired by those particular styles.

If there is anything I think more games should do and that is to personalise characters to their own liking, and I like to believe I handle it differently by introducing a system called “The Specialty System” where you have character’s being able to pull off Level 1, 2 and 3 Specials which are default presets, but over time as you play as each character you would be able to unlock and equip new Specials that can replace Level 1s and 2s. What I hope to achieve with this system is to give the player the option to personalise their favourite character(s) to suit their own play style and give them plenty of options to play with.

Also I would love to create within it to go along with the usual standard Arcade and Versus Modes, a Story Mode similar to that of Soul Blade but with a twist where in each character’s story you can make choices and those choices would affect who you meet and how the tale would progress so virtually everyone’s experience would be different. Also I would include within Story Mode, secret stages and characters to unlock via a set of requirements not in the results of the fights but what you do in them.

Speaking of that, every stage would have its own style and even offer plenty of ways to beat an opponent on a 2D plane like Street Fighter with Graphics similar to that of Soul Calibur, but would incorporate not only stage transitions to different places within that stage but also interactive environments similar to what could be found in Uncharted 3. Also in certain stages the environment could change around you or the fighters could get hit by the environment whether it’s by situations in the background or by background characters.

It would be a dream come true if I could have many operatic pieces during fights and even atmospherics and pieces of music to set the mood within the story to immerse the player into the story’s calming and tense moments, similar to such musicians like Nobuo Uematsu and Motoi Sakuraba.

In full my perfect game would be an experience, that is fun and vastly improves on what we have already seen, giving the player choice and creating an unforgettable tale that is equal to any RPG within an original fantasy world with original character’s and even make it open to customisation to ones play style with a deep but still easy to learn fighting system with many secrets to find and unlock.

This is an entry to the Perfect GAME competition for the chance to win a Wii U from GAME

Speed Grapher

Faries teams up with a new challenger to tackle one sick anime.

I join Faries of the team of Paradise & Faries to review the dark and unusual anime, Speed Grapher. This review was a lot of fun, it took a fair bit, but in the end we got it together and had a lot of fun with it.
